Cocktail attire please. We would be honored if our guests wore colors from our wedding flowers and decor, pictured below with examples. Please no white, cream, off-white, or champagne dresses. Please no denim or sneakers.

This will be an unplugged ceremony. Please be present with phones put away for the duration of the ceremony. We’ve hired a really cool professional photographer to take photos for us!

Please be at the venue by 4:45 pm so you can find your seat and we can start on time. If you arrive late and the ceremony has started, you’ll have to wait outside the venue until the ceremony has finished.

La Villa KC is located at 4120 Baltimore Ave Kansas City, MO 64111. This venue is just west of Westport and north of the Plaza. The venue is located just a couple of blocks away from the streetcar's Southmooreland stop.

Short answer, yes. Long answer, this venue is two blocks from the streetcar’s Southmoreland stop and an Uber in KC is affordable. Please only drive if you won’t be drinking. There is no overnight parking allowed at La Villa.

We’re doing a beer and wine bar. Liquor will not be available, but sodas and water will be.

Ceremony and reception will be indoors. Happy hour will be outdoors as weather permits. September in KC could be hot or mild - please plan accordingly and check your weather app!

We do not have a block of hotel rooms anywhere, but do have a list of a handful of hotels in various price ranges on our travel page, arranged by distance from our venue. Please stay wherever you feel comfortable. Book lodging without delay - there may be a Chiefs game the same weekend of our wedding.

We’re having a welcome party for all our guests the night before our wedding. This is from 6-9pm at Parlor in KC, MO. We’ll have an open bar until (if) we hit a limit & heavy buffet style appetizers. Parlor is a 10 minute walk from the closest streetcar stop(s), Crossroads and Kauffman Center, but is in a very walkable neighborhood. Street parking is technically available, but will be tough on a Friday night, since the neighborhood is pretty popular with The Youths.
